After securing our Gold grading last year we were also in the top 2% of the total 2400 GTBS membership. The awards will be announced at a ceremony to be held in Manchester on 10th November. In 2012 we were awarded a Highly Commended award after being shortlisted following our 2011 green inspection. Since then we have installed 216 solar PV panels, enabling our cottages to be powered by our own green electricity! The Green Tourism Business Scheme is the world's most credible sustainable tourism programme.
